We are FUNDED!                
 
It's official! We have met our goal, and with 3 days left! You guys are amazing! 
We are so overwhelmed by the support from all our friends, family, colleagues and researchers!! Thank you to all of you for donating, spreading the word and sending notes and messages of encouragement and excitement for this innovative app!
Evan, Keith and I are already at work on the development! We will be posting updates on the progress with hopes to reveal the final app in November!

Isla Mar Research Expeditions

We are building a fish identification survey app for the iPad and Android tablets. When conducting fish surveys, scientists still use pen, paper and reference books. With this app, we would increase the accuracy of reef fish census and reef fish identification. We have the technology to promote faster and more efficient surveys for scientists, now we just have to build it.
