As this breed of Manatee is of the order of Sirenia, meaning fully aquatic, herbivorous mammals that inhabit swamps, rivers that are typically fresh water how does the renal system adapt to salt water and concentrate the urine to 1,160 mosM/liter? I look forward to your review and reply back. Than you for taking up this important study on the Caribbean manatee. Gregory M. Chase

Hey Daniel! Good luck. I will not always be able to donate this much, but today I can and I hope it sets an example for others who I know can better afford it. It's such a pleasure seeing you carry on with the next generation of students! One of my students raised $3000 using Experiement.com. We started out with a goal of $6000, but had to reduce it to $3000 and get an extention. It was a learning experience. Don't let the deadline sneak up on you. In the end, we had to donate about $200 out of our own pocket to keep from losing the $2800 that had been pledged.
