    Sara, I hope you get the funding you need. Is there a timeline of Grevy's zebra habitation in Kenya that shows that they lived there at other climatic stress points ?

    Hi Larry, Thank you so much for your contribution. I greatly appreciate it. Grevy's are an arid-adapted species and are certainly adapted to the areas of northern Kenya where they live. Interestingly, they have been moving southward in recent decades to regions that are a bit more wet, but may provide habitats where there is less livestock and human development. So, part of the environmental issue they face may be that there is more competition for space, forage, and water than in the past. These are things we will be testing.
