Yes - I know Marcella! In fact I worked for her graduate student, Adam Dillon on his ocelot research project in Belize, and helped out with Marcella's jaguar camera trapping grids while I was there. It's one of the experiences that got me excited to pursue this branch of science! Thanks for your support, Vicky!

All the best for the project and hope you can raise the required funds. I've worked with conservation canines on a bat and bird mortality project on a wind farm site and they did a brilliant job. I'm sure their participation will be an asset to your project and a contribution to conservation. Best, Sujai Veeramachaneni.

We'll be surveying the Lacondon region of Chiapas - a place where little wildlife research has been done due to the extreme remoteness. The lack of trails and roads makes other techniques, like camera trapping or hair snares impossible - which is why this project is a great way to show off the capacity of the Conservation Canines to survey remote areas!
