It is clear this is a research project in need of community support and encouragement. This study is beneficial not only to this specific turtle species but all turtles. It will enlighten biologists as to the trends of female turtles. Eventually this information can be used as an effective tool in protecting other turtle species by recognizing habits of turtles during reproduction, feeding, and other activities. Also, this project creates a positive scientific relationship worldwide by enlisting the assistance of fellow biologists in Colombia. I am excited to be pledging aide to such a great cause!
