SEPTEMBER UPDATE: Can Our Unconscious Minds Predict the Stock Market?

A heartfelt hello to all our backers!

Things are progressing slowly as we wait for the as-yet unnamed contributing organization to send their contribution to this effort.

However, there is some progress -- we are working with a financial services organization to create the automatic software for the experiment. This software will keep all participants unaware of what is being invested and when it is being invested, while at the same time it keep careful track of the same.

The purpose of this "double-blind" protocol is to avoid participants trying to consciously "figure out" in a deliberative way what direction the particular investment will trend during the investment time. We want to remove all of that and focus on participants "remote viewing" the targets that are associated with the correct trend in each investment.

INTERESTING NEWS: We know of three other similar experiments underway by three different groups. The useful thing about this situation is that we are all using slightly different protocols, so hopefully by comparison across results (once they are in) we'll learn some very useful lessons.

STAY TUNED!

About This Project

Thirty years of data suggest that non-conscious processing correlates with future events. We have used this idea to make money on the stock market, but our past results could be due to chance. In this project we examine three approaches that could produce reliable guesses about the market shifts over 120 days. We are interested in shedding light on the underlying mechanisms and opening the scientific conversation about the psychology and physics of time. Proceeds go to the Seva Foundation.

Blast off!
