January Update: Working on the code...

Hello Marvelous Funders!

Here's the scoop for January! We're working together with a Financial Services firm to get the code written for the "predicting the stock market with associative remote viewing" experiment. It should take about two months before we can begin it in earnest.

Meanwhile, I've collected the data for the next single-trial smartphone experiment (the one with the $4 reward; remember, the last one offered a $2 reward). I am setting aside time next week to analyze the data. I'll let you know in February what I've found, and then I'll run the $6 reward experiment.

In other related news, I'm working with Dean Radin and Arnaud Delorme at IONS as well as a dedicated bunch of Silicon Valley hackers to build a smartphone app that will help us examine a range of psi abilities in the general population.

That's all for now, short and sweet! More news when I have it.

About This Project

Thirty years of data suggest that non-conscious processing correlates with future events. We have used this idea to make money on the stock market, but our past results could be due to chance. In this project we examine three approaches that could produce reliable guesses about the market shifts over 120 days. We are interested in shedding light on the underlying mechanisms and opening the scientific conversation about the psychology and physics of time. Proceeds go to the Seva Foundation.

Blast off!
