Methods

Summary

We will use our proprietary autonomous, field deployable droplet digital PCR machine to collect and analyze marine water samples to detect the presence and abundance of bottlenose dolphin eDNA at two sites in the United States.

Challenges

The major challenge to this experiment is the field deployment of our units. This will be the first field experiment of our alpha prototype, and thus, many lessons will be learned.

Pre Analysis Plan

We will test the assays provided by NOAA in the laboratory before field testing. We will work with NOAA to receive water samples from a dolphin tank at an aquarium.

Protocols

This project has not yet shared any protocols.
