    As a colleague of Dr. Jennings from public health, I strongly support this project. Understanding the microbiome diversity and elevating Indigenous management practices is foundational to strengthening food sovereignty, for example, and can contribute to long-term support through programs and policies of Indigenous community health and wellbeing.
