- Harrison WillsIs this going to be published in an open-access journal? Thank you!Jun 26, 20140
- Chris KassotisWhile not strictly open access, Endocrinology flagged our previous article so that anyone could access it: http://press.endocrine.org/doi/abs/10.1210/en.2013-1697Jun 26, 20140

- Natalie LaneBackerThank you for focusing your skills and effort on this important investigation into the effects of fracking. Your work and dedication is appreciated! I trust your work will be thorough, honest and non-biased. I would like to know the outcome of your investigation, if you can, please share updates and results with your sponsors. Thank you and good luck!Jun 24, 20140
- Ian Campbell-GilliesBackerThank you for your work. Here in South Africa we face a combined corporate (Shell) and government (ANC) attack on our scarce Karoo water resources, knowing full well that very few citizens will benefit while corrupt individuals proceed to rape the land. I hope your science proves the risk associated with fracking. Regards, Ian Campbell-GilliesJun 24, 20140
- Robert FinneBackerWear this out on Twitter and Facebook this week and get this funded!!Jun 23, 20141
- Andrew AyresBackerGood luck with this project. We need good scientific information and evidence about the effects of fracking, because so much of the political debate involves the hurling of insults and unproven assertions that the other side is wrong. Only today it's been reported in the UK that Nato Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has heard from 'allies' that Russian agents are responsible for infiltrating UK environmental groups to promote an anti-fracking agenda to keep the UK dependent on Russian gas imports. When the debate gets to this heated political level, scientific reasons for fracking, or not fracking, go out the window. So, more power to your elbow in bringing reason and science to this debate. I look forward to reading the results of your research.Jun 20, 20141
- Elisa EvettHow does your proposed research build upon/go beyond Theo Colborn's work?Jun 09, 20140
- Susan C. Nagel, PhDResearcherGreat question, Dr. Colborn and TEDX have primarily done two things: 1. literature review of the potential health effects of 350 chemicals (out of 1000ish) and found that >30% were suspected or known EDCs based on other research. They did not measure the activity or the presence of the chemicals in water. 2. Air monitoring study of chemicals related to drilling and fracking studies. We propose a field study to sample water and measure the EDC activity in water in the laboratory. The next step will be to identify the chemicals in water at fracking sites that contribute the activity. Does that answer your question?Jun 10, 20140

- Linda JohnsonBackercontributing because we have an observed very high number of still births, miscarriages, and neo natal births here in Utah's Uintah Basin oil/gas drilling basin. We can't control it because most drilling is on an Indian reservation, but national information will help.Jun 01, 20141

- Jason PrestonBackerThanks for this. I live in Quebec, where there is currently a moratorium on fracking. A couple of experimental fracking missions have found a way around this moratorium, however. I hope you can help contribute to stopping these reprobates.May 28, 20141

- Daphne Ellison HankonenBackerThank you for doing such important work! The research is a service to us all, so please let the results be known loud and clear PUBLICLY and not just in a medical paper that the average person does not read (or necessarily understand). Thank you also for giving us non - scientists a chance to help raise awareness about the chemicals we are all exposed to.May 24, 20141

- Randy SargentBackerThanks so very much for your important work in this area. Both my childhood home (North TX) and current home (Western PA) are heavily fracked, and this is a subject my wife and I care deeply about. We very much hope the crowdsource funding, and your project, succeed. I am a PI of the Explorables project of the CMU CREATE Lab, in which we're trying to build explorable visualizations related to topics of environmental and economic import. One of our thrusts is to build a database of fracking sites, and we also work closely with SkyTruth which is a leader in this area. If we might be able to help you with explorable visualization, or with pulling data from states re permitting etc, please don't hesitate to reach out. Best, RandyMay 15, 20142

- Harriet ShugarmanBackerThanks for your work on this. I am working with impacted communities from pipelines, compressor stations and drilling in PA & NY. If you are looking to broaden your subject area, do be in touch I would be happy to connect you. In particular, we are starting coalition called Protect our Children, with grassroots groups from PA. The purpose is to be a focal point for advocating for no fracking infrastructure near schools. Health studies are an important component for the audiences we are addressing, so thank YOU for your work on this. .Mar 24, 20141
