Hi Brendan, Good luck for your project, much needed work! I'm studying shark bycatch too and I got scared off the deepwater sharks because it's just so tech and tricky - but man does it need to be done. Where can we go for updates as your project comes along?

Thanks Sunkita! It is very much a tricky process, but we're confident that our methods will work out. We have a lot of extremely experienced folks on our team, from marine engineers to deep sea ecologists. I feel well supported by those folks, and we've made a lot of progress on our plans already! I'll post updates on here through the lab notes so that folks can stay up to date with the project. I'm looking forward to some field time! Thanks again for your help.
