Good luck! I really hope you're able to obtain the funding you need. I keep hoping researchers will find something that could help with my depression!

I truly support this research as a newcomer to Utah from sea level. I was off of antidepressants for 1 1/2 years following 15 years of care-taking my husband and needing intermittent antidepressant use. I went through two major surgeries during those 18 months after stopping antidepressants, then I moved here and have been here four years. I suffered greatly and am "managed" with Zoloft. My psychiatrist has diagnosed me as a chronic depressive, which I don't believe is true. I am a PhD psychologist, 75, still mentally sharp, but handicapped with anxiety and depression. i consider moving back to Massachusetts - which I hate to do as family is here. I do hope you will send updates to your donors. Sincerely, Marylyn Rands
