Thanks everyone for your ongoing interest in our project. As an update. The community monitoring has continued and we have many villages who have increased their marine protected (tabu) areas, banned small hooks for fishing and started an eco-tourism snorkel trail to promote awareness about their reefs. Its so amazing to see the legacy of this work and the dedication of communities in Vanuatu.

Reef and Rainforest Research Centre (RRRC) is proud to happy to contribute $2,500 to this very worthwhile project. This is real-life, on the ground research that will be beneficial to these communities and the RRRC is more than happy to contribute to ensure that this work continues.
