This protocol is a combination of two sampling protocols proposed by Oberbeckmann et al 2016 and by Bessey et al 2021. It combines the passive eDNA collection and the using of low cost material such us :

• 1.5 l PET (Ethylene terephthalate) and
•  PVC (50 cm diameter).
• The experiment system is linked to SmartBuoy.

Design

1. On a vertical PVC tube of 1 meterand 50 mm of diameter,
2. we fixed 3 bottles of 1,5 liter by the top of the bottle.
3. The bottom of the bottle is filled with cotton fibers (100 g).
4. The bottom of the plastic bottle is also perforated with 2 mm holes.
