Unfortunately it can't be treated, infected animals are either euthanized (livestock and some wildlife species like African buffaloes) or removed from the rest of the population like in the case for endangered species like rhinoceros or African elephants.

Hi Nicole, These guys are adorable and they are so relaxed. This specific one hangs around my mentor's house every night and just hangs around when we are sitting outside. He even enjoys a snack now and then straight from the hand.
