Your cookies will be in the oven soon
Hey guys,
Thank you so much for supporting my research project. πI've received your generous funds, here is the proof!

Shortly after this campaign closed, I moved to New York City. Well, not just me--all of the Experiment crew moved to New York City. We are now situated in a new office and I'm in a new apartment. Things are starting to cool down, which means I have time for the cookie experiment. Yaaaaas.
The cookies will be in the oven soon, and I will post an update when I start to freeze the cookie dough.
During the campaign one of the researchers on the site brought up a good point. If I am freezing the cookie dough for 12 hours, I need a control where I leave cookies at room temperature for 12 hours. So, I am going to add that!
If you have other suggestions for the experimental design, I'm all ππ½ ππ½.
In other news here are some cool things related and unrelated to cookies that have been happening in my life.

1. The cookie experiment got a shout out in Jason Calcanis' weekly show, This Week In Startups. You can watch the interview here. You can skip forward to 60:51 to see our project on the big screen.

2. We launched our first ever grants program featuring marine mammals research: experiment.com/marine-mammals This is a new thing I'm testing out where wealthy donors can donate thousands of dollars (or maybe even millions or billions of dollars) toward a specific research topic. The project with the most number of backers tomorrow Tuesday 11:59PM PT, will receive an additional $2,000 grant. This is definitely up there in top 5 most awesome projects I've worked on at Experiment.
The best way to participate is to go in there and give $1 to the projects you think deserve an additional $2,000 grant. Every dollar counts, literally.

3. I flew an airplane for the first time. We took off at Palo Alto Airport and landed at Half Moon Bay Airport.
Alright, we're getting off topic now.
Your cookies will be in the oven soon,
Cindy
