We did it!!

Well folks, we officially reached our goal! A HUGE thank you to the 174 of you who supported us throughout this project, we couldn't have made it happen without all of you! Thank you not only for your donations, but also for helping us spread the word. We reached a huge number of people thanks to all of you! We cannot begin to express the overwhelming gratitude we feel for all of the support we have received over the last few weeks, it has been truly inspiring.

We will be in touch soon about our field work and about the promised incentives. Our cameras are packed and ready for some penguin action!

Again, a big thank you to everyone who helped make this research possible!

Cheers,

Kit, Dulcinea, and Jacquelyn

About This Project

The Falklands Islands are a biodiversity hotspot in the South Atlantic, but are threatened by climate and land use change. To protect penguins, marine mammals, and other species, we need to better understand how the islands have responded to past periods of rapid climate change. Funds raised through this campaign will help us take peat cores, to establish a climate and ecological history for the Falkland Islands spanning the last 20,000 years.
Blast off!
