Namaskar

Hello Everyone,

After a long trip, I arrived in India safe and sound. Right now, I am staying at the Forest Research Institute and enjoying beautiful views of Mussorie forest (view below -image from College dunia).

 

This is an example of my day's schedule so far:

5AM- Wake up and go running

6AM- Practice Hindi

7AM- Drink morning chai

8AM- Go to our mess hall for breakfast

9AM-5PM Work on field preparation at the Centre for Ecology, Development and Research (CEDAR)

5PM-8PM Work on modeling projects, walk around FRI, or do household chores

8PM- Go to our mess hall for dinner

Tomorrow, I'm leaving for the field, in order to get adjusted to the forests and species here. I'll be back in a week with more snapshots and thoughts to share.
