πŸš€ Unveiling Desires: Progress Update!

Hey Supporters! πŸ’–

Here are some updates from our co-working session on Dec. 5th! πŸŽ‰ Our team has been hard at work, and here’s where we are:

✨ Highlights:

  • Literature Review πŸ“š: Kiana Cummings has tackled the updates based on Dr. Nicole Crawford’s notes and wrapped up the task like a champ. βœ…

  • Data Analysis πŸ”: Dr. Tanya Bass helped clarify roles to avoid overlap, and the students will now focus on a clean dataset using simple Excel formulas. Carolyn Carney is diving into sex tech opportunities to showcase our data creatively! 🌟

  • New Support πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ: Kiana connected us with Iris, a social researcher and trans woman, who might jump in to help us draw essential inferences and speed up our writing phase. πŸ’‘

🚦 What’s Next:

We aim to lock in our data analysis plan by this Thursday. From there, we’ll create eye-catching infographics πŸ“Š and start putting pen to paper πŸ–ŠοΈ for the final write-up!

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support keeps us inspired to keep pushing forward! πŸ™Œ

With gratitude,

The Unveiling Desires Team

About This Project

"Unveiling Desires'' explores BIPOC fetishistic desires using a unique dataset from voluntary fetish surveys collected over the past decade. This study provides insights into a sexually suppressed & underrepresented demographic. Key findings highlight the complexity of BIPOC sexual desires & the reclaiming of sexual autonomy. The fortuitous collection of this data offers an invaluable opportunity to advance sex education and discourse.
