Thank you!

It has been a long journey but my second attempt at funding this project has been successful!

I am happy to say that, given these imminent funds, I have just made the final purchase that will be necessary for the proof-of-concept phase of this project. Although additional equipment will be necessary later, funds from experiment.com have gotten us off of the ground!

I will keep updates flowing (with pictures) as our equipment delivery begins!

About This Project

Sleep is beneficial for memory formation. Consequently, those with poor sleep quality (e.g., older adults) also have increased forgetfulness. We plan to see whether improving sleep quality using a known mechanism -- mild skin warming -- will improve memory formation in adults. Enhancing sleep by natural means can enhance memory formation, and, in effect, can impact the lives of countless older adults who suffer from memory deficits.

Blast off!
