Thank You to Dinosaur Culture!

Whew! Field season "ended" a week ago, but we've been no less busy. Wrapping up the season means inventorying, organizing, and packing the tons of supplies and equipment, repairs to vehicles, catching up on food and rest - not to mention hundreds of emails - and so much more. But as of this afternoon, things are finally starting to come to a close. Which, fortunately, means that we can get back to the all-important task of thanking our very kind and generous donors.

Today we'd like to thank Dinosaur Culture for their sponsorship of a small jacket. This one particular jacket contains a caudal (tail vertebra) of a young Diplodocus from the famous Jurassic age Mother's Day Site!

Be sure to check out Dinosaur Culture on line, on Twitter, and on YouTube. They're a great resource for the latest information on the world of dinosaurs, not to mention a great supporter of our 2018 Field Expedition!

About This Project

Work alongside paleontologists as we collect, excavate and document the fossilized remains of the ancient ecosystems of Montana and Wyoming's Bighorn Basin. This year we're focusing on Jurassic (145 million yr old) sites, excavating dozens of juvenile Diplodocus bones at one, and Allosaurus, Apatosaurus, and crocodiles in another. Join us for a week this summer on the excavation!

Can't join us? Support us by sponsoring a fossil jacket or donating to help us purchase supplies! See below!

Blast off!
