Agile UX Field Testing

Unlike an experiment that can be described as having a testable hypothesis, we will use the industry-standard best practices of iterative, Agile, UX field testing.

The fundamental action here is to iterate on the design by collecting feedback directly from users using it in the field. We are beyond the paper prototype phase; we need a ruggedly, usable system we can use in the field to get high-quality testing. In a sense, this is already the third iteration of our design.

That is the overarching design protocol, but we will of course use other industry best practices. In particular, with software we have code reviews with the whole team. There are numerous principles of PCB design as well that we will follow.

As an engineering principle, however, modularity is key to our work. By separating the control module from the battery from the incubation chamber, we are designing for maximum flexible.
