We need this kind of hard information to start putting things right. Thank you very much for this kind of study.

... furthermore, we need to make these types of data and hard information available to anyone regardless of background, country, education, or political view. By sharing these data we allow diverse interpretations from which diverse insights derive to decide what is and what is not right. Thank you for your kind words and substantial support and interest.

hallo Andreas, ich finde deine Idee klasse und drücke dir alle Daumen das du dieses Experiment durchführen kannst. Freue mich durch deine Blogs und tollen Beschreibungen deine Arbeit besser zu versehen. Ahoi dein kleiner Bruder!

Danke danke, mein lieber Bruder. Diese Hilfe gibt mir auch Mut, Laune, und Motivation meine Forschung so offen zu teilen, dass es vielleich auch den einen oder anderen anstoesst wie schoen und mysterioes unser Umgebung ist.

We will need it. As much as scientists hate to admit it, luck always does play a role in all experiments, but one cannot depend on it. In this project, the ice conditions play a large role, but are out of our control. Often it is best to work with nature rather than against it. Nevertheless, luck always plays a role. Stay tuned ...

I think global warming is a very important issue.

It sure is, but not all physics or oceanography that shapes our natural world is caused by such warming. There are both local and regional causes and effects that that can make the impact of global warming both less and more dramatic. This is why we need experiments on the ground to figure how all the different pieces of the large climate puzzle fit together.

Yes, that's the goal. And I am convinced that there is a little physicist in us all that wants to know what happens around us every do and what will happen next.
