About
Growing up in a village in India, I did two things: played cricket (or something) and went looking for birds. Surprise, surprise, you don’t see me on a sports channel ;)
One thing led to another, and I got a PhD for appreciating the diversity and beauty of jumping spiders. (Oh, wait, there was much more to the PhD than that, but I don’t want to become one of those people who complains about their PhD. Or maybe I am one of those people, but for that, you might have to buy me a beer! Those stories don’t come cheap!)
Anyway, I got hooked. And for as long as I can, I want to keep learning more about these incredible little animals. It does make me happy :)
Now that I’ve graduated, I have all sorts of interesting ideas I’m finally allowed to pursue (as long as I can afford to pursue them, haha)!
So, I’m here to figure out: can I afford to keep doing this?
Thanks for being here!
