I've always been curious about the ways that people are different. We all have different experiences and these experiences grow into a fascinating web on individuality across the lifespan. That is at the heart of the reason why I choose to study psychology. As a clinical psychology doctoral student at Virginia Commonwealth University, I study the effectiveness of alcohol intervention and prevention programs in college students, with particular focus on a tailored versus 'one-size-fits-all' approach to prevention/intervention. This research is the perfect balance of my curiosity and my passion for serving others.
