About
Ever since I can remember, I was always fascinated by science, especially things that cannot be seen with the naked eye. I'm always intrigued with how and why things work. I graduated with my A.S and went on to work at various industry lab jobs. As of now, I am an undergraduate researcher at the University of Hawaii and will enter graduate school to pursue my Ph.D in the Spring of 2023.
Currently, my research is on algae and fungal interactions, although my main focus is fungal research. In my lab, we look at increasing bioproduct capabilities of microalgae and fungi individually, as well as how they can be produced from symbiotic relationships.
