More
I am a Palestinian healthcare professional with diverse education and experience. My academic and professional training was received in different countries, whereas, I am always looking for opportunities to enhance my experience and knowledge.
In 2011, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Jordan. During my undergraduate studies, I acquired intensive knowledge of the health and pharmaceutical sciences. This knowledge was complimented by my postgraduate studies and practical experience in several areas.
In 2013, I was awarded a degree of Master of Science with a distinction in Management in Health and Social Care from Oxford Brookes University. During this postgraduate study, I had the chance to develop my knowledge of health services management and administration in addition to training in health and social care research methods.
I try to contribute to the community as possible while constantly studying and monitoring advances in my field. For instance, I have been observing healthcare delivery in the surrounding hospitals, including operational and financial management, pharmacy management and medical care. In turn, I have been suggesting improvements to the health delivery processes where applicable.
I have started a career in consulting where I research different business sectors with a focus on the health sector. In addition, I actively participated in the development of Health Information Systems (HIS) to be applied in the Palestinian territories and neighboring countries.
I am currently working with a not-for-profit organization in order to improve the health and well-being of the community. My work experience has helped become aware of the most compelling issues in health service delivery along with the assessment of their extent and the possible interventions to tackle them.
I am a hardworking individual who is constantly seeking opportunities for personal development.
