About
I am a biophile and engineer working on problems in climate, environment, and sustainability for love of Earth's life.
My recent work focuses on community-building in climate biotech, and opportunities for biotech in negative emissions technologies. My PhD work focused on genomics technology development, in particular in situ genome sequencing.
I am a co-founder and Co-Director of Homeworld Collective, which supports the growth of climate biotech through a community-focused approach.
I enjoy picking fruit from trees in public spaces, and poetry.
PhD MIT '21, BSc University of Waterloo '14.
I'm from Kitchener, Ontario, now in California's Bay Area.
