Coming from a family of biologist I first became interested in environmental chemistry, then atmospheric chemistry and physics particularly climate. Once I started looking outside our own Earth system the idea that the galactic environment could affect us became deeply fascinating for me. I want to understand the link between cosmic and climate not only because it is wonderfully interesting but also because it can help constrain the man-made climate effects that we are experiencing now. In the latest years I have taken my research to other planets as well, looking at Jupiter and Neptune.
