Lucas Bertucci is a Yale graduate student in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. His specialties lie in sustainable metallurgy specifically with expertise in the domain of recycling neglected wastes such as solar panels, electronics, batteries, and more. His novel work has earned him national recognition and achievement. His portfolio contains five patents for his innovative developments in enabling successful sustainability. Lucas leverages his unique skillset in the Hu labs to unlock synergies between recycling and photocatalysis. He currently holds the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
