About
After finishing my third year exams in Waterford Institute of
Technology in May 1999 I was sitting in a pub with some friends. The topic came around to our final year project. I asked someone who had just graduated what advice they had for my final year project.
“Do a mediocre project and do it well”, was his reply.
It is actually good advice get a good degree and get a good job. My final year project was a screen magnifier for X Windows. In 2016 I was studying for my Masters in Dublin Institute of Technology and I decided to do my dissertation on Ant Colony Algorithms. In the words of one lecturer “a difficult choice”.
I do not want to lead a mediocre life.
I am on this site to back scientific projects and I will post my own shortly. My areas of interest are:
Swarm Intelligence (ACO) Constraint Programming P/NP Problems Graph Theory
