About
Jazmyn is an undergraduate transfer student at Cal Poly Humboldt, majoring in Freshwater Fisheries Biology and an overall fish enthusiast! She is especially interested in research that revolves around fish conservation. Through this project, she’s been analyzing BRUV footage, which has given her valuable insight into this marine conservation strategy. Prior to this, Jazmyn was involved in a project identifying aquatic invertebrates as part of a study on food webs and also gained hands-on experience raising Chinook salmon in an Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture System. She continues to be involved in fish conservation work as she explores different areas of the field.
