Jessica Conway

I'm an Assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at The Pennsylvania State University. These days, my primary research interests relate to mathematical modeling of infectious disease, focusing on HIV and, to a lesser extent, HCV and influenza, at the within-host level. Pre-Penn State, I spent time as a postdoc in the the Theoretical Biology and Biophysics group at Los Alamos National Laboratory, in sunny New Mexico, and in the Mathematical Biology group in the Mathematics Department at the University of British Columbia, in rainy Vancouver, Canada. I graduated with a Ph.D. from the Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics Department at Northwestern University in Evanston (just north of wonderful Chicago), IL, USA, in 2008.
