retro bowl, a free mobile game, got me into the NFL. Something that three Madden games couldn't do. No matter how much I tried I just didn't have the passion for madden. Its clunky, overpriced and has too many immersion breaking gimmicks for my liking. It is graphically impressive and a pretty good simulation of American football but it comes at a tall cost for casual players. Then one day by random chance I was browsing the play store for new games to play during my lunch breaks and saw this as a recommended game. I've always been a fan of simulation games that strip things back a bit and prompt a little bit of roleplay on the part of the player.
