My passion is for learning, engineering, biology, and most importantly people. My technical background is in Biochemistry with a focus in Cancer Biology, and an in-formal training (>5 years) in Synthetic Biology working and managing projects as diverse as DNA assembly, bio-fuels, environmental remediation, and biosensors for toxins. I work within the innovation and education space whether it be developing science and entrepreneurial resources, DIY hacker spaces for biology, or commercializing products through startups.
