Arvin Wei Bin Deng is a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo. His academic interests include biochemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering, and pharmaceutical sciences. Through his course work, he is developing analytical skills evaluating complex scientific concepts across different genres. Outside of academics, he shows interest in scientific discoveries, which informs his perspective on how scientific research can be made more accessible to diverse publics.
