I am a graduate student pursuing a Masters of Science in mechanical engineering at California State University Northridge (CSUN). I received my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from CSUN in 2018. My capstone project involved the design and analysis of a predominantly carbon fiber suspension system for the university's Formula Society of Automotive Engineers race team. Though this project was largely in the realm of automotive engineering, my coursework specialized in aerospace engineering and involved courses such as composites analysis and fluid dynamics.
My background in aerospace engineering has been further developed by working as a mechanical engineer at a large aerospace OEM, where my primary responsibilities involve new product testing and development. This has given me the opportunity to grow tremendously and has given me an opportunity to develop my engineering skill set. I intend on continuing to work in aerospace research and development after graduating.
I am a lifelong learner and a proponent of incorporating continuous improvement in all aspects of my life. I have always been passionate about science and using technology to improve peoples' lives.
