Senior Software Engineer, Founder
More
Anton studied Computer Science & AI at the University of Sussex, England where he was introduced to the scientific method. He really enjoyed the scientific process and fully understood its purpose and tactics. Having developed the skill to analyse problems through research and making of hypnoses and to tackle them critically through experimentation and evaluation, he gained the ability to approach any problem-solving exercise with a mindset cultured through traditional British science.
He received his Masters degree in Computer Science and Security from the King's College London where he learned cryptography and took up "Advanced Research Topics" module that prepared students for real academy research. He worked with Met Police on digital forensics and graduated with distinction, which allowed him to find a job in the industry, but nonetheless he still tackles his tasks as a scientist would.
After working for a startup for 2 years working on building its full-stack infrastructure with other team members, he founded his own software development company, Art Deco™. Driven by passion for programming, he focused on building his own tools, including testing and documentation frameworks. Soon it became apparent that it's not possible to have a modern workflow without types, but he didn't want to sacrifice his freedom and incorporate a language of his competition, Microsoft, into the workflow, so he ventured to find out how to work around it, in pure JavaScript.
Over 2 years, Anton has modernised the whole web development stack, discovering the process of Node.JS compilation using Closure Compiler, which wasn't done before. He now compiles all his modules, uses typedefs on daily basis, and sells his professional packages on a registry for paid software. He wants other Software Engineers to join him in reestablishing traditional values independent of frameworks, while putting the skill of the developer on the spotlight.
