About
I'm a clinical psychologist and postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (which is affiliated with the University of Toronto) where I am actively studying how we can use smartphone devices and apps to improve existing treatments for mental health. In 2018, I completed a post-doctoral research position at the University of Virginia, where I used smartphone technology to track emotional and cognitive processes in individuals with a range of depressive and anxiety symptoms for up to 5 weeks. I'm interested in how people regulate their emotions in daily life, which was the basis of my doctoral studies at the University of Toronto, and how we can use technology to deliver novel interventions. To date, I've published 19 journal articles and presented 27 conference posters and presentations.
