Upon receiving funding, I will be the sponsor of the research. The research will be performed under contract with the University of Florida, Food Science and Human Nutrition Department under the direction of Dr Liwei Gu. Dr. Gu is an expert in the chemistry and antioxidant capacities of phtyochemicals in foods. Dr. Gu has at least 62 citations for work in the industry.
I will be contributing $2,000 to add to the $9,040 to be raised through this funding. The University will have the rights to publish the output of the research.
