As my father was a seabird biologist, I've been around seabirds since I was a young boy grubbing auklet and storm-petrels on the BC coast. More recently, I've been studying Arctic seabirds for the last 15 years, a pursuit that brought me to 17 different islands across Alaska and the Canadian Archipelago. Since 2015, I've been an Assistant Professor at McGill University studying Arctic seabirds and what they tell us about the environment.
