Imrul Kayes is a third year PhD student at Daniels's Forestry in University of Toronto. He is an enthusiastic young academician originated from Bangladesh, interested in urban environmental resilience under anthropogenic perturbations and climate change. He utilizes principles and processes of physics, chemistry and earth sciences in general to answer various urban environmental research questions.
In his PhD, Imrul is looking at identifying point-source methane emissions and mapping hyperlocal 3D-dynamics of particulate matters from a densely populated tropical urban environment.
