About
All my life I loved animals. When I was really young I think I liked them just because they were different than us humans and had their own incomprehensible lives. As I got older, learning about and looking for animals was an adventure. Then I learned about evolution and their incomprehensible lives were slightly less incomprehensible. From then on, it was my goal to understand as much about the diversity of life that I possibly could. It is the word "diversity" that led me to insects, since they are the MOST rich and diverse group of animals on the planet. Where do cockroaches come in? Well, if you study cockroaches there is a huge potential for discovery, since we know so little and there is so much to know. Plus, I think I have an affinity for things perceived as dark and evil. Call me a fan of the underdog.
