I'm a first year student at Washington University in St. Louis studying biology and French. I was part of the 2018 TAS_Taipei iGEM team, and really enjoyed the iGEM experience of creating a project, solving a real life problem with synthetic biology, and overall, being apart of a collaborative research team (http://2018.igem.org/Team:TAS_Taipei). I would like to revive iGEM at WashU in hopes of spreading my love of synthetic biology research with others who have the same passions as me. The fact that we are able to solve simple and complex problems using current scientific technology absolutely amazes me.
