Paper Accepted for Publication @ BMC Women's Health! It is with great joy to share the fantastic news that after three years and eight months, since this project was funded, our work ended in the expected manuscript and has been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal BMC Women's Health!

We are forever grateful for your generosity, support, and trust in this idea that has finally materialized! A warm "thank you" goes to the beautiful women who participated. You all made this possible, and we hope this is the beginning of more projects that can help contribute to the science of fertility awareness based-methods.

P.S. We will share the link to the manuscript as soon as we have it!

About This Project

Fertility awareness-based methods (FABM) are a group of family planning methods that teach women how to identify their fertile and infertile days in each menstrual cycle. They can use this information to time intercourse to achieve or delay a pregnancy. The Billings Ovulation Method® is a cervical mucus FABM and this project aims to understand the beliefs, attitudes, experiences and behaviors from users. By doing focus groups we are aiming to improve program development and delivery.
