Count Down to Hawaii

In a few days I’ll be off to Hawaii. Still quite unbelievable really. Until then, there is still a lot to do. One last workshop weekend to add to the travel fund you all so kindly started. Organizing last bits and pieces, confirming flights and housing with the East West Center (EWC) one last time.

In terms of my research, I’ve finalized a catalogization system for the techniques I’m finding and am in the process of organizing the videos I’ve already recorded in Europe over the course of the last year into that system. So far, it all looks like the system will accommodate the new techniques on Hawaii as well.

I’ve also been connecting and reconnecting with potential interviewees. Can’t wait to meet them and dive deep into how they’re playing the ukulele!
