This project focuses on transforming invasive water hyacinth from Lake Victoria into clean biogas for cooking through anaerobic digestion. By converting this harmful aquatic weed into a renewable energy source, the initiative addresses environmental degradation, improves lake navigation, and provides affordable, sustainable fuel for local communities, contributing to both ecological restoration and energy access.
