Hello, I have been in Brazil for about a week now beginning my research here! I am getting settled and getting situated with the lab in Botucatu, SP, Brazil starting tomorrow. I will be able to obtain my samples at the end of the month and get started on DNA extractions! Let the Brazilian lab work begin!!

The Critically Endangered Largetooth Sawfish is one of the most threatened of all marine fishes. They have historically been, and still are, exploited for their toothy saw.
