Meet Sesame : )

The next member to join our seahorse family is Sesame. He is a pregnant, male, Hippocampus comes (aka the tiger tail seahorse)!  We found it him on the same dive with Sami - off a little island called Koh Yao Noi in Phang-nga province on the Andaman (west) Coast. He measured 13.1  cm tall. We found him in a rocky area, in a sponge,  in about 3 meters of water, at one of the sites with the worst visibility! Less than 0.5 meters! But still we found 7 seahorses on that dive. This spot was a hotspot on the Andaman Coast : ) We also found another species - H.kuda in the same area.  If you want to check out Koh Yao Noi on Google Maps here are the coordinates:     8° 5'14.68"N ,   98°37'31.63"E.
