Planning / Next steps

My team and I are currently assessing the next site to collect data. My assistants and I have now finished collecting data in two villages that are located on the northern edge of Itombwe Nature Reserve. The next site will be located outside the southern region of Kahuzi-Biega National Park (PNKB). We are consulting with various colleagues who are familiar with the area and the landscape. There are several considerations as we evaluate the site location outside of PNKB such as accessibility, the main ethnic group in the area, lowland or highland forest and distance of great ape habitat to a village. I hope to confirm the next site soon and start data collection in a few days. Thank you all for your support of my project. Please continue to share my campaign. I am very close to meeting my goal.
